Mexico blacks 4/12/10

The second peak of Mexican blacks are on the way. The peak will be at the end of April and will last about 2 weeks. Right now the quality is excellent. California Giant packs the 12-6oz and the 8-12oz.

Spring is here and so are the berries!! What great timing! There is a huge crop and Easter is just around the corner. It is definitely time to promote!!!

Oxnard Straws 2/16/10

Attached is a photo that was taken yesterday in Oxnard, CA. The San Andreas variety is looking and tasting great! There is some rain in the forecast this weekend which will slow production down, but we will recover quickly. Expect volumes to increase around March the 8th.

Hello,

It is still pouring here in California. We have received up to 6 1/2 inches and the rain continues to fall. The wather has finally taken its toll on the fruit and it's going to juice. It sounds like we will be out of fresh until the 29th - ouch!

Florida 1/12/10

Hi,

Florida's temperatures continue to be below freezing. The damage still has not been determined. It will definitely be a few weeks before we have any fruit.

Florida 1/6/10

THE BIG FREEZE. Temps dropped as low as 21 degrees last night. The field department is still accessing the damage. Production will be light for the next 4 weeks in Florida.

Florida has started to recover after the freeze! Volume will be very limited for the next couple of weeks. We expect volume to jump around the 25th of January.
